After our stay at the Point Break Luxury Apartments for Comic-Con Cape Town 2024, we traveled to our next accommodation, the O on Kloof Boutique Hotel and Spa in Sea Point. Let’s jump in and discuss the luxury experience from start to finish.
Price, Location & Parking at O on Kloof
We stayed at O on Kloof Boutique Hotel & Spa for two nights, from 28 to 30 April 2024. The price, rather heavily discounted thanks to our Level 3 profile on Booking.com, was R3844.89 for two people.
We had a lot of issues with parking in Cape Town, as my SUV wasn’t really fit for small street parking. However, at O on Kloof, the staff were exceptionally accommodating, helping us with parking on their property instead of in the street. Then, to our surprise, the person on duty even helped us carry our huge amounts of luggage into our room, held the doors, and everything else you would expect in top-class accommodation. O on Kloof is conveniently located close to the bustling life of Sea Point.
The address is 92 Kloof Rd, Sea Point, Cape Town, 8060
It is just 1969 feet (roughly 600 metres) away from the beach…You can check out a map directly to the accommodation below. Thanks, Google!
O on Kloof Room and Facilities
So, the first and possibly most important thing you should know is that the rooms at O on Kloof are incredibly clean, and the bed is as comfortable as humanly possible. Modern lighting and design make it a sight to behold, and the bathroom (with a shower and bath) is bigger than some places we’ve stayed in.

With a nice TV, a dresser, and chairs, the room was everything we expected and a bit more. We could use the free, super-fast Wi-Fi throughout the establishment and, when needed, work from laptops without issue or stream our favorite shows.
In the evenings, we could enjoy expertly-made cocktails with a fantastic view of Sea Point. The person on duty not only made the cocktails, but took bookings, answered questions, and helped us in a professional manner with anything we could want.

Our only small gripe with O on Kloof is that the indoor swimming pool was cold, as it appeared the heating didn’t work properly when we tried it on 29 April 2024 at roughly 20:00 SAST.

O on Kloof Breakfast & Spa Treatment
During our stay, we got free daily breakfast. First, you get some nice yogurt, juices, cereals and fruits, freshly made. Then, you also get a hot menu, where you can order from a selection of fantastic breakfasts.

Both I and my fiance had a five-star experience at breakfast, with the staff bringing us our coffee and orders in the most professional manner possible and with flawless execution.
Furthermore, a lady who appears to be the manager (Tammy) checked in with us at breakfast each morning, showing interest in our stay in Cape Town and, specifically, Comic Con, while even getting her hands dirty by bringing us coffee refills.

One can also book a Spa treatment. We went with the couple’s massage with a little of everything, and it was one of the most relaxing experiences we’ve had in 2024.
The Spa staff have to be arranged a few hours before you would like your treatment. We believe it is well worth the asking price of roughly R1600 for a couples massage, including hot stone and everything in between. If you happen to stay at O on Kloof, go for it!
Our O on Kloof Boutique Hotel Verdict
O on Kloof Boutique Hotel and Spa was a luxury experience that just kept on giving. From the clean rooms to the friendly and helpful staff, to the huge bathroom and the excellent breakfast, we want to return to this accommodation as soon as we possibly can. If you are in Cape Town and don’t know where to stay, we can confidently suggest O on Kloof as a choice you won’t regret.
