KFC Uitenhage 24 Feb 2024 Order
Update: MrD gave me R110 credit (the order was around R500) for the incident. I still feel as if, due to the way it was packaged, it was KFC’s fault, not MrD’s.
We ordered two Colonel burgers, a Double Crunch burger, a Large Pops, 10 Dunked Wings, and a Large Pops. On every item, we asked for a Chilli Salt packet. Unfortunately, for the 8th time in a row now, we didn’t get even one Chilli salt packet, almost as if the workers cannot read a ticket.
The burgers were all decent, and the Double Crush was great, with soft buns and extra sauce as requested. Unfortunately, there was a huge issue. Upon arrival, when opening the bag, I found a wing outside the box, and everything was drenched in the Dunked Wing sauce.
I believe this was a packing issue at the restaurant, as the actual box of Dunked Wings was sealed, with a big wing on the outside. The order package was also sealed, which means it was during packing at the restaurant where the incident occurred. That’s a real lack of quality control…
